Envisioned as a homage brought to a fabulous, partly forgotten tradition, the exhibit “Found.Lost.Found” is a current reinterpretation of symbol rich shapes, very spectacular, inspired by Dacian heirlooms. The purpose of the project is the creative revival of a valuable heritage that exceeds it's purely museal condition and becomes a living shape, relevant to contemporary existence. The designer collections suggest an alternate interpretation for cultural heritage, a living organism, endless, sedimentary and an active part of cultural memory. It's values go beyond national borders and transcend into the universal.
FOUND.LOST.FOUND has premiered at International Fashion Showcase – London Fashion Week 2016, in cooperation with the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, while later on it was presented as a capsule exhibit at Romanian Design Week, and than as a part of EuroCultura festival, hosted by Bozar Brussels. It also marked the first Romanian attendance at Designblok - Prague Design and Fashion Week, while in 2017 it marked 100 years of Romania - Portugal diplomatic relations, through a special exhibit at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Lisbon.
